Thank you for choosing Doggy Barber LLC for your pet’s grooming needs. We pride ourselves on providing the best care for your best friend. Before grooming, please read and agree to our terms of service:

Vaccination Requirements
Doggy Barber LLC requires all pets’ Rabies and Bordetella vaccines to be up to date. Puppies without the Rabies and Bordetella vaccines may be admitted if they have received their first two puppy starter vaccines (Parvovirus, Hepatitis, and Distemper). Your pet's safety is our top priority. To assist with vaccine verification, we may contact the veterinarian you have listed on your account to verify vaccine status. However, you must still attest to your pet’s vaccine status at the time of booking and check-in.

Medical Conditions
If your pet has any medical conditions (seizures, arthritis, collapsing trachea, etc.), please inform us so we can take the necessary steps to ensure your pet's comfort. Grooming can sometimes expose pre-existing conditions. While we cannot diagnose these conditions, we may advise you to seek veterinary attention.

Handling High-Risk Animals
Doggy Barber LLC specializes in dogs who may have been turned away from other grooming facilities due to age, temperament, or aggression. A special handling fee will apply for pets that are people- or dog-aggressive. If the full service cannot be completed, customers may still be responsible for the full grooming fee.

Biting History
If your pet has a history of biting, you must notify us before grooming. This helps prevent injuries. If an injury occurs to an employee, customer, or another animal, we are required to notify our insurance and provide the responsible party’s contact information.

Sedated Dogs
We can accommodate sedated dogs; however, the sedation level may wear off during the visit, potentially halting the grooming process. Customers may still be responsible for all or part of the grooming fees. Failure to disclose sedation will result in grooming cessation, and you will be required to pick up your pet immediately. In such cases, the full grooming fee plus a special handling fee may apply. Sedated pets are not permitted on the Pet Taxi.

Fleas or Similar Infestations
If your pet has fleas, we will administer a flea bath (starting at $15). This service covers shampoo, time, and cleaning to ensure no fleas remain active in the salon. Please note that this treatment does not protect against fleas in your home or pet area after the visit.

Matted Coats
Pets with matted coats may require shaving. Mats prevent air from reaching the skin, potentially causing irritation or injury. Shaving may expose underlying conditions or irritate the skin. Additional charges apply for dematting services due to the time and equipment required. There is a higher risk of injury, including cuts and scrapes, when grooming dogs with neglected coats. While we do our best to avoid injuries, they are sometimes unavoidable due to the coat condition.

Accidents and Emergencies
While rare, grooming carries a risk of injury. We will inform you immediately of any incidents or conditions we notice. If your pet experiences a medical emergency or is involved in an accident, they will be transported to the nearest available veterinarian. We will attempt to contact the pet owner immediately using the contact information provided at check-in; however, if we are unable to reach the owner within a reasonable amount of time, we will instruct the veterinarian to perform life-saving measures. Owners may provide specific written instructions at or before check-in if they prefer an alternative course of action. The pet owner is responsible for all veterinary bills incurred.

Right to Refuse Service
Doggy Barber LLC reserves the right to refuse service to pets that pose a threat due to aggression, health conditions, outdated vaccinations, parasite infestations other than fleas or any other reason as determined by salon staff.

Payment Policies
A convenience fee of 2.9% plus $0.50 applies to all card transactions. This fee does not apply to cash, check, or gift card payments. Payment is due at the time of pick up. If you are utilizing our Pet Taxi, invoices must be paid at the time of drop-off. If you have pre-arranged drop-off and will not be home, the invoice must be paid prior to drop-off.

No-Show and Late Cancellation Policy
A full grooming fee may be charged for no-shows or late cancellations. Reminder texts are sent 5 days, 2 days, and 1 day before your appointment. Please confirm or reschedule as directed in these messages. Unconfirmed appointments are not canceled, and a no-show fee will be charged. To avoid fees, notify us of cancellations before 5:00 PM the day prior. Pet Taxi appointments should be cancelled or rescheduled by 5:00 PM, two days prior. After the first no-show, payment of fees and a stored payment method for future bookings will be required, and you may also be required to partially prepay for future appointments. If your credit card is stored on file, we reserve the right to charge the no-show fee automatically if it is not paid by other means within a reasonable amount of time.

Late Arrivals
If you are late, please contact us. We will try to accommodate your appointment but may need to reschedule if time constraints arise. Cancellations or rescheduling due to late arrivals may incur same-day cancellation/no-show fees. Appointments are subject to cancellation 10 minutes after the scheduled start time, with stricter policies for repeat late arrivals.

Pick-Up Policy
You will receive a text message 15-30 minutes before your pet’s grooming is completed. Pets must be picked up within one hour of this notification or by closing time, whichever is earlier or late pick-up fee of $10-$20 may apply. Pets left for over three hours may incur a $35 daycare fee. If a pet is left after closing, a $100 daily boarding fee may apply, and the pet may be surrendered to animal services.

Salon Hours
We operate by appointment only to ensure personalized care for your pets. The salon opens approximately 30 minutes before the first appointment to prepare and closes 30 minutes after the last pet is picked up. Advertised hours indicate when we are available for contact and may not correspond to the times we are physically present in the salon.

Media Release
Photos or videos of your pet may be taken during their visit and used for promotional purposes. These remain the property of Doggy Barber LLC.

Client Communication and SMS
We value clear communication to ensure a seamless client experience. As part of our service, we use SMS text messaging to send appointment reminders, notify clients of rebooking opportunities, provide digital receipts, and share updates while your pet is checked in. Occasionally, we may also send marketing emails about special offers, updates, and promotions. To book and maintain appointments, clients must maintain an active cell phone capable of receiving SMS messages. If you opt out of SMS communications, your account will be deleted, and all future appointments will be canceled. By signing this agreement, you consent to receiving SMS messages for these purposes, acknowledge the requirement of an active SMS-capable phone line, and understand the implications of opting out.

Pet Taxi
For the safety of your pet and our driver, all pets must be on a leash and wearing a secure collar or harness at all times during pick-up and drop-off. To efficiently serve all clients, we request that you are ready for pick-up at your quoted time (sent in a separate message from your appointment confirmation). If there is no answer at the pick-up location after 10 minutes, we will unfortunately have to move to the next client, and you may be subject to a late cancellation or no-show fee. We request that pets are given a chance to use the bathroom within 30 minutes of pick-up. Please note that some pets may experience car sickness, ranging from excessive drooling to vomiting. If we notice your pet is showing signs of car sickness during their visit, we'll contact you to determine the best course of action for afternoon drop-off. If your pet gets sick on the ride home, we will do our best to keep them clean, but these situations are out of our control.
